Temperature accuracy is the key feature of Hi-ageing furnaces. Only precise temperature accuracy ensures distortion-free ageing and uniform hardness throughout the profiles.

HOFMANN largest ageing furnace is loaded from the top. Even with a volume of 1,300 m³, even after 5 years of operation, temperature distribution is still better than +/- 3¡æ. 

HOFMANN ageing furnaces are charged from the front, the underneath or the top. It ultimately depends on the customer's needs. There are different plant designs which integrate the furnace into the logistical production system all the more effectively.
